I am SO excited!!! Last week, I brought a boy for rock climbing (with the help of Nelson. Thanks Nel!) as an experiential learning for him to form a kind of reliance on others AND I did see a tiny itsy change in him this week. I gave feedback to his parents and they accepted him back home for this weekend.
Today, I am bringing another boy for swimming together with his father (followed by dinner) to do family strengthening / bonding work. I do not know how are things going to turn out but I am VERY encouraged when my boy's father decided not to open his food stall so that he can spend time with his child.
God, pray you will grant me wisdom to manage this family. If You have placed me to be the middle person to do reconciliation work, do Your work in the families I am working with. I may not see miracles but I give thanks for the little movements.
