Packing

I haven't swam more than 20 laps since my polytechnic days. 14 years ago perhaps? Even now, each time I am in the pool, it's only 20 laps maximum.

Swam 40 laps with my boy today. Took us 2 hours but it was good pacing with breaks in between to chat. On and off tried to get the father down to the pool with us. Perhaps the 'competiveness' scared the father away but I could tell that he was very proud of his son. He was beaming all over during dinner time.

After dinner, caught up with a friend over ice cream and then went over to her place to continue the chat. I was first sitting in front of her bed. Then I made my way to lie on the floor. Soon, I found myself curling up her bed. With the cool air, wonderful music, I nearly fell asleep. Haa!!

However, I came back home, though tired, I decided to continue packing my room. This afternoon, I packed a very small section of my room. Then, I decided that the next strategic place to pack is my table.

I love packing. Packing always give me a refreshed and renewed feeling. As if I am starting life afresh again. As if I am giving myself chances again. As if I am clearing the waste in my life. It has a therapeutic effect on me. I think it's really time for me to pick my life up and clear the waste!!!
