Love

Love motivates people to give and usually, the way I give love is to give my loved ones my time. Time is very precious and scarce to me so I believe that by giving away something so precious away is my way of loving.

I love my best friend lots & I love her children, my godchildren lots. I always have a headache when it comes to buying gifts for them (cause I do not know what they want/need). Whenever I ask Pearly what my godsons need or what she needs, she would tell me 'Nothing, just visit them can already.' Each time I visit them, I always feel that it's never about me giving them something. It's always them giving me A LOT of things. Pearly would definitely have dinner prepared for me. My godsons will always be prepared to welcome me. Think about it, what have I really given to them? In essence, it seemed like I have given them a lot of my time. Actually, not. I guess this is what it meant when the bible say 'As you give, you receive'. I really feel that as I give a little of my time, I receive heaps!!! HEAPS!

Today, it's probably the first time that I feel I did my bit as a godmummy. Haa! I gave time to drive my godson to his class! For the first time, I feel 'useful' as his godmummy. Not just someone who swing by for dinner and a hee-haha time. I really want to do more of such things!
